Well, the sun has finally appeared and at its best, may I say! Long may it last?

The Motels are very busy and it’s so nice to see people enjoying their visit to The Catlins.

I bet the Sea Lions and Elephant Seals are out sunbathing at Surat Bay today.

Well, I’m off to the garden while it lasts!

Whitebaiting season has finally begun and I’ve been out a couple of times but I think someone forgot to tell the whitebait!  My friend Trish went home with enough to make a pattie today…our total catch!

It’s early days yet, and we  have four nets, so if any of you want to try your hand, come to stay and I’ll take you to the river!
